THE VISION 

A Puerto Rico based and managed youth conservation corps initially consisting of 12, 5 person groups operating across the island. Crews will focus on:

  • conservation of the region's natural resources 
  • Community engagement
  • disaster readiness
  • supporting the operational needs for public lands and facilities
  • contributing toward economic stabilization 
  • increased community resilience. 
As a workforce development initiative targeted to local opportunity youth ages 18-25, BoriCorps will provide participants with on-the-job training, certifications, professional development, academic programming, leadership skills, career pathways, and additional support when needed.
